One day I’ll read material that’s meant for adults, but for now, I am perfectly fine with the young adult fare. Hey, it’s worked out so far, between Twilight and The Hunger Games, my imagination is sated … and excited.
I wasn’t sure I could get into a book seems unreal to me (in a different world, [...]

As the official fall tv season begins to wrap up, I’ve heard some very sad things … and some good ones.
First, Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies, both now in their second seasons, have been cancelled. They’ll finish their 13-episode runs (that leaves 7 for both), and that’ll be it. It’s sad, really. Both had a lot [...]

Is it true to the events in the book? Yes.
Is Robert Pattinson hot? Yes.
Is Kristen Stewart good at being a bumbling teenager? Yes.
Is the film great? It’s just okay.
Oh, and in case you’re curious, from today, of 123 critic reviews gathered by Rotten Tomatoes, only 43% of them are positive.
Now that I’ve seen it, the [...]

Unequivocally, the best husband on television is Jim Clancy (David Conrad). After watching seasons of Ghost Whisperer on DVD with commentaries and behind-the-scenes, the stars and studio for the show get tons of fan mail saying exactly what I just said. Now, for a show like this, it really does take a leap of faith [...]

Maybe it’s just a cat-owner thing, but this, created by Matthew Inman, is hilarious.

The opening of Twilight is less than four days away! Now, more often than not, the fact is, books are way better than their film counterparts. So, it’s not that I expect the movie to be better, but more that it’s just another way to connect with the characters that everyone’s come to love. And [...]

Having recently embarked on a journey to create a 24 x 36 poster of all of my movie stubs from the past decade, I have a lot of experience being in auditorium-like settings, such as movie theaters … and I have learned a few things. Others have not, as was apparent when I saw Quantum [...]

Okay, less than two weeks. Technically, like 9 days and two hours according to Stephenie Meyer’s countdown clock on her Web site. But seriously, the desperation of the fans is getting ridiculous. E! online reports on Robert Pattinson (who plays Edward in the film):
Just last week the 22-year-old British actor was at an Apple store in New [...]

Just finished another series of books, the enchanted books by Shanna Swendson. A brief (ha – you know I can’t do brief. I’m working on it, though) summary:
Katie is a Texas girl in New York. She gets a job working at Magic, Spells, and Illusions, Inc., with a unique role; she is the rare human [...]

Wow, the time after Halloween just flew by. It was a complete success though, with us using like 5 of the 6 huge bags of candy. Now we have one for next year. What kind of candy won’t last a year, right?
And, my costume for work, for which I won “most creative.” Indeed.
